Our client wanted a better way to process plant tissue samples for subsequent analysis operations. Their current process was labor-intensive, time-consuming and error-prone. Intense Engineering designed and built an automated device to address these challenges. The device processes 96 samples at a time and includes integrated washing and rinsing of sample contact components. An integrated drip tray eliminates cross-contamination of samples. A custom touch-screen user interface allows operators to adjust process parameters and create protocol methods.
